Love Lost: Prologue My life was over. It had been over for a while, actually. Without him here, I had no reason left to live; Yet I still did. I waited for the day he'd walk through my door and hold me; It never came. I sat in bed, hoping he'd join me and cuddle me to sleep; I still went to sleep alone, with dry tears on my face. I go for walks though the park we used to go to all the time, hoping I'll see you stomp out your cigarette, waiting for me; I always end up sitting on the bench alone. I stand near the kitchen phone all the time, waiting for you to call; I walk to bed as soon as I know you won't call.

Traces of you still linger around the place WE use

Change A girl; Only a few years of age had brushed upon her. She was generic; Basically a copy of every clone around her, just wanting to fit in. Unique in her mind, but not her outer shell.

Nothing prepared me for the day I'd walk into a stuffy room full of other children, therefore I remained that shy little kid. It was the same every year; I'd start school, never talk to anyone, and I'd be the one everyone forgot about. I was like an ant; My presence wasn't noticed, I'd be walked on, and when people realised I was there, they simply brushed me away and went on with their life. I'd grown used to it by the time I was halfway through kindergarten.
